Frequently asked questions
Which nutrients are authorised for energy and tiredness claims?
Under EU-authorised health claims, vitamin C, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, folate, vitamin B12, biotin, pantothenic acid, magnesium, iron and copper all contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism or to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. These are nutritional claims, not stimulant effects.
Why do B vitamins turn urine bright yellow?
Riboflavin (B2) is water-soluble and strongly coloured. Excess is excreted, which is harmless and simply means intake exceeded what your body needed at that moment.
Is tiredness usually a vitamin problem?
Often not. Iron deficiency, low vitamin D, low B12 and thyroid problems are genuine causes worth testing for — but sleep debt, stress and low activity account for far more everyday fatigue. If tiredness is persistent or new, get bloodwork before self-treating with supplements.
Should I take iron for energy?
Only if you are low. Iron contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, but excess iron accumulates and causes harm, and it is one of the most common causes of accidental poisoning in children. Test first, then supplement, and keep it out of reach.
What is the difference between this and a pre-workout?
Products in this collection are nutritional — vitamins, minerals and food supplements supporting normal metabolism. Pre-workouts in our Training collection typically contain caffeine and other actives for acute effect, and carry their own stimulant warnings.
