Elexir Folic Acid 60 Capsules - Made in Sweden

Elexir Folic Acid provides 400 µg of folic acid per capsule from Quatrefolic® — a patented, active form of folate (the (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid glucosamine salt) with very high bioavailability that the body absorbs easily. Folic acid is a water-soluble B vitamin, also known as vitamin B9. The vegan capsules contain just one capsule per day.

Folic acid is especially important if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy; the Swedish Food Agency recommends women take a folic acid supplement to support normal foetal development.

Folic acid contributes to:

• maternal tissue growth during pregnancy
• normal blood formation
• normal amino acid synthesis
• the normal function of the immune system
• normal psychological function and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue

Content (per daily dose, 1 capsule, % of NRV): Folic acid (Quatrefolic®) 400 µg (200%).

Ingredients: Filler (cellulose, magnesium salts of fatty acids), capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), anti-caking agent (silica), folic acid (Quatrefolic® (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt). Vegan.

Dosage: Adults: take 1 capsule daily with a meal. The recommended daily intake should not be exceeded.
