Holistic Iodine is a food supplement that contains iodine. Iodine is an essential nutrient that contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and to normal thyroid function. Iodine also contributes to normal cognitive function, normal energy metabolism and normal functioning of the nervous system.

Iodine occurs naturally in the bedrock, but the amount varies greatly between different geographical areas. Iodine is found in various foods, such as fish (especially lean fish), shellfish and algae. Dairy products can also contain iodine if the animals received iodine through the feed or had access to iodized rock salt.

Dosage for adults: 1 capsule per day. The recommended dose should not be exceeded. Food supplements should not be used as an alternative to a varied diet.
